Yuko Nagayama, an artist, has been using Schmincke Horadam Aquarell which has highest quality of watercolor paints made in Germany for a long time.
The special color, Lagoon Blue, was born from a collaboration with Schmincke.

The blue-green that I use most often in my paintings is a color that calms the soul. Until now, I have mixed the colors, but this time, they made a more vivid version of the color. For me, it reminds me of the color of Goshikinuma in my hometown, Fukushima. I named it Lagoon Blue, which is easy to imagine even for people outside of Japan. I couldn't be more honored.
